Flatiron School

Flatiron School’s immersive courses aim to launch students into fulfilling careers as Software Engineers, Data Scientists, UX/UI Designers, and Cybersecurity Analysts through rigorous, market-aligned curricula, and the support of seasoned instructors and personal career coaches. We experienced hyper-growth through the WeWork acquisition, growing online and physical campuses worldwide.

As a Senior Product Manager, I lead Acquisition and Growth enabling users to discover Flatiron School and change their lives through education. I drove top of funnel discovery for Flatiron School, developed free courses in Learn.co (LMS) to drive quality leads for admissions, and reduced friction for prospective students to apply for a course.

Initiatives I lead and launched:

  • Flatiron School Website Refresh - optimization across Flatiron School website PDPs, SEO, and student application form, and tech-stack powering the experience

  • Learn.co Free Courses - developed free courses and curriculum for students looking to understand how to get into Software Engineering, Data Science, Product Design, and Cyber Security. Used this to generate quality leads for sales and admissions team.

  • Student Application - reducing friction in student application process and drove integration with student application scoring model to determine great applications for sales team

  • Internationalization - expanded web and Learn.co to support London and Australia expansion

  • Mergers & Acquisitions - integration of Product Design (Designation) and Cyber Security (SecureSet) curriculum into Learn.co enabling students to onboard and discover free courses before submitting student applications

  • Paid Landing Pages - partnered with marketing and paid acquisitions team to create landing pages to drive high-intent and quality Monthly Quality Leads (MQL) of prospective students

  • Migration to new Marketing Automation Tool (Marketo) to drive larger scale and automation of email lifecycle marketing campaigns
