Resy Dine at Home (Pick up) & Add-ons

Discover curated pickup options, only on Resy. Resy At Home pickup lets you bring the restaurant experience home, complete with special meal kits, large-format dishes, and even bespoke cocktails that allow your favorite restaurants’ hospitality to shine through.

At the start of COVID-19, we threw out our product roadmap and decided to focus on what really mattered: Building tools to help restaurants survive the pandemic. Resy Dine at Home and Add-ons are consumer experiences that enabled users to support restaurants by purchasing meals and products through the Resy booking flow. It was a scrappy 3-week project that looked to drive impact for restaurants trying to stay afloat during this time.

Big wins:

  • 100% of the revenue went to restaurants

  • During COVID, Resy took zero fees for the utilization of this feature (and its SaaS platform (ResyOS)

  • Restaurants were just as scrappy in utilization of the feature and generating +$1M in revenue with the feature during COVID

The Dine at Home feature morphed into a feature called “Add-ons”, which is used by restaurants looking to curate their dining experience before guests arrive. See example below of Eleven Madison Park using it in their reservations booking flow.
